Stay Angry
How to Deal with the Anger We’re All Experiencing
What Can Be Done With It?
Speaker: Melissa Gibson

Ruth Semrau:
Dia de los Muertos ( Day of the Dead) is a holiday – holy day – set aside to honor our beloved dead. On October 28th, you can participate by bringing a photo or small memento of your friend or family member to place on our table. They are gone from us but not forgotten.

Carol West:
Susan Crane, our good friend who shares her beautiful flute music and wonderful art work with us, is in the Heritage-at-Longview Healthcare and Rehabilitation facility (112 Ruthlynn Street) because of complications with her foot wound. The good news is that Chloe, her service dog, is allowed to be there with her! If you would like to help Susan in her healing process, a visit or a card would brighten her day. You can call or text her at 903-932-1571.

Barbara Cavin:
Next time you’re at the grocery store, pick up an extra can of tuna, jar of peanut butter, bag of rice, can of chili, or any other non-perishable food item and bring it with you to the Fellowship on Sunday and put it in the food basket in the lobby and I will take it to Longview Community Ministries to help feed the poor and hungry of our community.

Ruth Semrau:
What would you do if one Sunday you came to the Fellowship and there was no lay leader?
We need a few more people on the rotation list so each person is lay leader once every month or six weeks.
If you are curious about what this job entails, please talk with Tina Rushing (auntlou007@msn.com), Barbara Cavin (birdbar1@msn.com), Kipsey Hight (kipseyh@gmail.com), or me (resemrau@yahoo.com).
