Take Me Away – A Winter Vacation
Ecuador was International Living’s #1 place to retire in 2014. Not suggesting you retire there, but will show you and tell you what we learned about the people, culture, economics, health care, religion, plants and animals, and “expat” retirees that we met there on our two trips to Ecuador in 2017. We visited Quito, Cuenca, Vilcabamba, Loja, and the Galapagos Islands. From their experiences and ours, learn a lot about a small country that has beaches, mountains, high plains and jungle,
never freezes, and accepts US dollars.

Next time you’re at the grocery store, pick up an extra can of tuna, jar of peanut butter, bag of rice, can of chili, or any other non-perishable food item and bring it with you to the Fellowship on Sunday and put it in the food basket in the lobby and I will take it to Longview Community Ministries to help feed the poor and hungry of our community.
