Introduction to the Baha’i Faith
The Baha’i Faith is the newest of the world’s major religions and shares many similarities to the major monotheistic religions. Basic tenets of the Baha’i Faith are the belief in one God; all the religions come from the same God; all the peoples of the world have the same origin and, therefore, we should all work toward unity and world peace.

January 20– Some of us would like to get together and do something other than watching the inauguration. We’re thinking about a movie and a special potluck at the Fellowship around noon. If you’re interested, what movie would you suggest? Does anyone have a DVD to bring and the expertise to show it? Something fun and uplifting preferably. Contact Carol West @cmwest2012@gmail.com.
Programs for 2017—As the new V.P., Carol West will be responsible for obtaining speakers/programs for the current year. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, or if you would be willing to present a program, please contact Carol at cmwest2012@gmail.

Next time you’re at the grocery store, pick up an extra can of tuna or jar of peanut butter or bag of rice or can of chili and bring it with you and put it in the food basket in the lobby and I will take it to Longview Community Ministries to help feed the poor and hungry of our community.
